The Nature Reserve has a large level area of about 4 hectares, on which, soon after the end of the Second World War, the first baseball stadium in Italy was built. It was on that field that the great Nettuno Baseball team won many important trophies from the 1950s on. The photo, from 1951, shows the team as champions of Italy.
But today the large area, under the patronage of the municipality, is used only for concerts, fairs and other types of events or shows of large dimensions.
